12 x 20 oil on board. The pony's name is Nashville, descendant of wild ponies on Little Horse Island in St. Helena. Nashville's owner kindly let me visit her farm with a wonderful array of loveable critters! I hope to paint more of them soon.
Another chef – this guy is 10 x 8 inches oil on board – lots of blues and greens to go with the very fresh fish! $160 unframed or $190 in simple wood floater frame.
I've painted this chef toting strawberries down Calhoun Street in Bluffton twice before this one – at different sizes – and couldn't resist just one more. I just love the subject and each one has turned out different but still fun! 8 x 12 inches oil on board.
This little cow painting (8x8 inches square) just went to my Etsy Shop ... https://www.etsy.com/shop/FreshPaintbyMSease?ref=hdr_shop_menu. It's actually a study for a bigger version 24 x 24 inches that is waiting for a frame and will soon be at La Petite Gallerie in Bluffton!
24 x 24 oil on board. This was painted from a great reference photo of a royal tern taken by the most talented Edith Wood. Painting is available at La Petite Gallerie...
I'm so pleased to have several of my paintings featured in the new SCG Magazine – on newsstands now! Those are my peaches and figs next to correspondence page and a whole page of paintings with Pat Brannings "Porch Life" article. This is a great publication with good art, articles and recipes!
Market Day was accepted into the juried Biennale Show at the Art League of Hilton Head. It is among 100 pieces of wonderful art from all across the country. My piece didn't win any awards but I am honored just to be among them! And it did sell on opening night! The show will be [...]
The Art Market at Honey Horn last weekend was great fun! The art was amazing, so many talented artists, so many friends old and new were there to enjoy. And I won a prize!!! Third place for my booth/display/paintings, was completely surprised and so happy!
